Celsius turns a popular soda classic into latest concoction
By Trey Weston
Over the past few years, energy drinks have begun to become ubiquitous. From Drinks like Prime Energy to others like Ghost -- the trendiness and energy provider of these beverages have led to their consumption by millions nationwide. Now, Celsius, another prominent brand from the same category, has a new beverage that has begun to hit markets across the US.
If cherry-flavored soda is your thing, then you're in luck because Celsius has a new Sparkling Cherry Cola flavor that is making its way into stores now. A statement by the company says it is supposed to mix nostalgia with the rush of energy needed to get through the day.
But with a lot of energy drinks targeting younger generations, Celsius also mentions Gen Z. They realize that people are becoming more aware of what they are consuming and pulling back from harmful things to their bodies. Consequently, the drink contains zero sugar, seven essential vitamins, and better ingredients. And that is a positive sign when you compare it to a Monster or a Red Bull.
Aside from this flavor, Celsius also has many other ones that are part of its collection. A few of those include Blue Razz lemonade, Sparkling Orange, Sparkling Grape Rush, and more. But this one is special because it adds the iconic cherry soda flavor to the mix.
If you're like me, energy drinks are not something you do regularly. However, there are times when you need the extra boost and don't want to have to grab a coffee. When those situations arise, it may not be a bad idea to give this new Celsius drink a try instead of drinking a sugary Cherry Coke.
Will you be trying this new product from Celsius? Are energy drinks something you look to for an energy boost?
