Chick-fil-A testing drool-worthy Pretzel Cheddar Sandwich, releasing refreshing Cherry Berry drinks nationwide

Chick-fil-A is ready to make your spring merry with berries with their new line of Cherry Berry drinks. But perhaps even more drool worthy is the scrumptious sounding new Pretzel Cheddar Sandwich which will only be available for a limited time… And only in Raleigh, North Carolina.

“Our Guests have always enjoyed both cherry and berry flavors, especially during the Spring season,” said Chick-fil-A chef Christy Cook via a press release provided to Guilty Eats. “We wanted to explore how to deliver that burst of fruit flavor they love, in a way that is unique to Chick-fil-A and that pairs so well with our menu items. Be on the lookout for other exciting beverage flavors to come and maybe a few familiar favorites from the past!”

Let’s talk Pretzel Cheddar first, though. The sandwich will be available starting April 8, 2024, while supplies last. Here’s how Chick-fil-A describes the sammy: “the tavern-inspired sandwich test features a delicious boneless breast of chicken served on a toasted cross-cut pretzel bun with green leaf lettuce, sliced tomato, soft seasoned cheddar cheese, strips of applewood smoked bacon and a Creamy Dijon Mustard Sauce on the side.”

Yes, I will take two. Except I live in New York, so I will take exactly zero at the current time. As usual with this sort of item, feedback from the limited time test will indicate whether the Pretzel Cheddar Club will be taken nationwide. I would suggest that regardless of how things go in Raleigh, Chick-fil-A should attempt a second test, at my house, in my mouth.

Anyway, on to the Cherry Berry drinks, which you can get regardless of whether you’re in North Carolina or not. They will also be available on Monday, April 8, albeit in stores everywhere. The spring-inspired berry drinks come in four flavors: Cherry Berry Sunjoy, Cherry Berry Lemonade, Cherry Berry Iced Tea, and Cherry Berry Frosted Lemonade.

Cherry Berry Sunjoy: This beverage combines Chick-fil-A's Sunjoy® (Chick-fil-A® Lemonade and freshly-brewed Sweetened Iced Tea) with cherry, blueberry and cranberry flavors for a refreshing taste.

Cherry Berry Lemonade: This sunny combination is a mix of classic Chick-fil-A Lemonade® and cherry, blueberry and cranberry flavors.

Cherry Berry Iced Tea: Freshly-brewed daily from a blend of tea leaves, the Cherry Berry Iced Tea mixes classic Iced Tea with cherry, blueberry and cranberry flavors.

Cherry Berry Frosted Lemonade: The perfect springtime sweet treat, combining Chick-fil-A Lemonade (or Diet Lemonade) and signature Icedream dessert with cherry, blueberry and cranberry flavors.

The fast food chain recommends pairing them with their chicken strips, but you could also pair them with a nice long walk through the park, or the Pretzel Cheddar Club, except you can’t do that if you’re not in Raleigh, North Carolina so forget it! [runs off sobbing into the distance]
