Chipotle has Cinco days of deals for Cinco de Mayo

It’s almost time for Cinco de Mayo. And you know what that means: party time! That is, unless you haven’t prepared properly, and are now panicking about how to cater to the folks you invited over for margs and food. Don’t worry, Chipotle has you covered, of course, with a great deal for Cinco de Mayo: $0 delivery fees.

In fact, surprise, surprise, Chipotle launched the deal as part of their Cinco Days of Cinco promotion, which started offering $0 delivery fees on May 1, 2024. However, if you missed it, you can still take advantage of the offer today (May 4, 2024), and of course tomorrow for Cinco de Mayo on May 5, 2024.

So how would one take advantage of this? First of all, I wouldn’t suggest heading to your local Chipotle and telling them you want the $0 delivery fee offer because, uh, that makes no sense. Instead, as you might expect the offer is only available through the Chipotle app or website, and not valid with any third parties like Uber Eats, GrubHub, etc.

Second, you’re going to need the promo code: CINCO24. Provide that at the time of order and you should be good to go.

…Unless you’re trying to order less than $10, or more than $200. The deal is only valid between those two amounts, meaning if you’ve got 200 people coming to your Cinco party, you might want to look elsewhere than Chipotle – at least if you’re counting on the $0 delivery fee. And in fact, the deal is explicitly not available on catering or Burritos by the Box orders.

Basically, they’re making sure you get a delivery, and then do not break your delivery person’s back/car axles by ordering everything in the store. Instead, if you act totally normal and order a normal amount of Chipotle, you should be totally fine.

If you want to be weird about it and order 300 burritos, though, walk into the store. Or even better, call ahead ASAP because buddy, there’s not a lot of time left to feed those hungry partygoers before they start picturing your head as a burrito.
