Cuervo dances with the devil in latest tequila sweet heat innovation
By Trey Weston
Ah, yes, tequila. The alcoholic drink that goes perfectly with a fun night, whether it be shots with friends or a refreshing margarita. But sometimes, you need a little kick, which Cuervo seeks to provide with its latest swicy tequila.
Making its way to stores nationwide is the brand-new tequila from the company Devil's Reserve, which is said to combine sweetness and heat while also containing a lower ABV. It is said to have a clear look with a fiery, light yellow hue and a sweet heat taste that teases the senses. The exterior features a bottle that draws inspiration from Mexican heritage and traditions.
"Devil's Reserve unleashes an entirely new taste upon the world of tequila, bringing the Devil's mischievous spirit to life for those craving unforgettable nights of adventure with the perfect drink in hand," said Lander Otegui, Senior Vice President of Marketing in a press release provided to Guilty Eats.
Appealing to younger generations of Tequila fans
When creating this new drink, Cuervo spent time thinking about the younger generations. Studies have proven that Gen Z and Millenials are big fans of adventurous flavors, while the more recent generation also prefers a lower ABV. These things were taken into consideration as the company formulated Devil's Reserve.
For those interested in purchasing, they will be able to find the bottle at most stores for $20.99. In addition, the company is also hitting the road to allow fans to try the new tequila. Using Devil Trucks created in honor of the drink, Cuervo will hit various US cities, including Chicago, Atlanta, Orlando, Tampa, Nashville, San Diego, and more.
That said, as football season kicks into full gear and many holidays are coming up soon, will you be trying out this new option from Cuervo? Have you decided what cocktails you want to create with this tequila?
