Does the OREO x Betty Crocker line taste as good as it looks?

There are certain products that seem to go hand-in-hand including OREO and Betty Crocker. While it might seem unlikely, it makes sense.

Released in late January 2024, it seemed like a match made in heaven. I mean what's not to love about adding OREO into the already tasty Betty Crocker lineup? Ultimately, it's one of those collaborations we never thought would happen but it did.

With that being said, let's get into what the line features. For cakes, you can get the Betty Crocker Oreo Chocolate Cake Mix, Betty Crocker Oreo White Cake Mix and the Betty Crocker Oreo Lava Cake Mix. Then there's the Betty Crocker Oreo Brownie Mix and lastly, the iconic Betty Crocker Oreo White Creme Frosting.

As you can see, there is plenty of choose from and the brand was kind enough to send us the full lineup to try so let's get into it.

Is the Betty Crocker x Oreo collection as tasty as it looks?

Let me start by saying that the only thing I haven't tried are the Betty Crocker Oreo Brownie Mix but I've tried the rest of them. Other than that, I was able to try everything else and put it in one word: amazing.

All of the products I tried were amazing for a few reasons. First, they tasted just as good as you might imagine. They were sweet and had that perfect mix of Oreo to make it even better. In addition, you have the option to either mix in the Oreo pieces or use them as a garnish for the top.

No matter what you decide to do, I feel like these are the ultimate decadent treat. They have that classic Betty Crocker flavor but with a dash of Oreo, making them even better. As with most box mixes, they're incredibly easy to make and don't take much to throw together and bake, but the result is worth it.

All in all, this new Betty Crocker OREO line lives up to all the hype. Let's be real and admit that there was no way this was going to be bad. Whether you're baking something for your family, have a craving or need to bring something into work, you won't be able to say no to these as you'll be everyone's favorite after they get a taste.

Of all the products I tried though, my favorite has to be the Betty Crocker Oreo Lava Cakes. Those were so easy and incredibly simple to make. It would be a great one for date night, doing together with your littles or the perfect thing to fulfill your chocolate craving.
