This week, from May 6 through May 12, is National Nurses Week, a time to celebrate nurses and the incredibly hard work they do pretty much 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. So since America runs on Dunkin’, and nurses are part of America, ergo nurses are going to be treated to free coffee today, May 6, for the kick-off of this special week.

The deal includes a free medium hot coffee, or a medium iced coffee, today only, and only at participating Dunkin’ locations. In addition, you’ll need to present a valid ID proving you’re a nurse, so no walking into your local shop and winking, “Yeah, I’m totally a nurse, wink, wink.” Hot tip, saying “wink” out loud is always a dead giveaway anyway.

Regardless, there are a few restrictions… This deal doesn’t include cold brew, nitro cold brew, or frozen coffee. And any additions to the drink – flavors, whipped cream, etc – will be an extra charge. But hey, free coffee is free coffee. The work don’t stop, and hopefully, a dose of caffeine will help folks keep going for a few more hours.

In fact, Dunkin’ has been running this sort of promotion at least as far back as 2011 – perhaps even longer, perhaps since [booming voice] the dawn of time – making this a yearly treat for nurses to look forward to.

Also perhaps of note, though National Nurses Week stretches all week long, this Dunkin’ promotion is only available today, May 6, 2024, so get on it nurses. Stat! That’s what nurses say, right? I’ve watched Grey’s Anatomy, so I’m basically a nurse myself. Wink!
