Here's what you need to know about Red Lobster for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day 2023

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day are upon us and for some of us that means a lot celebrations and time with family and friends. It can mean special meals that you make yourself or it could mean finding somewhere to go that will do the cooking for you.

And if you are someone who celebrates Christmas Eve with fish (especially if you have ever taken part in the Feast of the Seven Fishes), then you might be wondering if Red Lobster is an option lunch or dinner. Plus, you might even be wondering if they will be open on Christmas Day as well.

Well we have some good news for you! It turns out that not only will Red Lobster be open on Christmas Eve, but they are also open on Christmas Day as well. So if you are in the mood for seafood, they have you covered in 2023.

However, it is important to note that according to the press email that we received from Red Lobster, they will be operating under special holiday hours. And they highly recommend checking out your local restaurant's hours before heading out to dine. (They even put together an all-inclusive spreadsheet with every locations hours for the holidays!)

Now that we know that Red Lobster is ready to feed us on December 24 and 25, we also were curious about any specials they might have as well. First we have to point out that you can still try their NEW Cheddar Bay Stuffing, which is a side dish that started as a recipe for the rest of us to try at home with their Cheddar Bay Biscuits, as both an in-store option or to take home.

While there are no real specials being offered in terms of the menu itself, there is a deal still going on for anyone who may need some last minute gifts. "Red Lobster still has their “Give a Gift, Get a Gift” holiday gift card promotion going on until January 7th – for every $50 spent on Red Lobster gift cards purchased in-restaurant or online, guests will receive two bonus coupons for $10 off dine-in or online To Go orders of $40 or more, redeemable in January and February."

Honestly, we love the idea of getting a gift card for someone else and also getting a small gift for ourselves. And of course, you could always get the gift card for yourself and just use it to save more in the future. Whatever works for you, as long as you are saving a little money.

Finally, Red Lobster is also doing something for people looking to take something home with them. According to the press email, "guests can order several limited-time Family Holiday Sides for To Go orders, including NEW Cheddar Bay Stuffing, Crispy Brussel Sprouts, Bacon Mac & Cheese, Mashed Potatoes, and Orzo Rice. Guests who purchase the Holiday Side Bundle with all five sides will receive two dozen Cheddar Bay Biscuits for FREE!"

All in all, it sounds like Red Lobster has us covered for both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. But not only that, they have us covered if we are planning on giving out some last minute gifts or even hosting an impromptu gathering.
