Hi-Chew makes Chewbie the official mascot of popular candy brand

When you look at some of the more iconic brands, it is hard not to think about the mascots that represent them. A few of those include Tony The Tiger with Frosted Flakes, Chester Cheetah with Cheetos and Ronald McDonald with McDonald's. Hi-Chew has recently announced a mascot of their own that they hope will become widely known by many one day.
Attempting to steal the hearts of millions across the country is Chewbie. a fun-loving chew that is all about being energetic and having a good time. The hope is the mascot will help promote the good vibes the company radiates.
"Chewbie embodies everything that Hi-Chew represents - joy, excitement, and chewiness," said Teruhiro Kawabe, Chief Representative for the USA & President, CEO of Morinaga America, Inc in a press release. "Chewbie's friendly energy and mischievous attitude are sure to bring even more fun to the Hi-Chew brand."
The Chewbie lingo
In addition to their energetic presence, Chewbie has a new language called Chewlish. The new Hi-Chew vocabulary is about incorporating CHEW into everything they say and do while highlighting the brand's energy-filled personality.
Where to find Chewbie?
In celebration of the announcement of Chewbie serving as the Hi-Chew mascot, they will be making several appearances. One of their first big moments will take place on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on the week of October 14, where Chewbie will cause some trouble with Guillermo in the studio. Another appearance will take place on a digital billboard in Times Square, New York City, on Thursday, October 17, from 4 pm-8 pm EST, located on 42nd Street and 8th Avenue.
Ultimately, it can be a challenge for a company to develop a brand mascot, but Hi-Chew has attempted to win the hearts of fans with a fun, energetic and lovable creation named Chewbie.
