Home Chef partners with Dolly Parton and Rachel Parton George on limited menu

Home Chef consistently delivers fresh ideas and delicious meals right to our door. And as part of their latest collaboration, they teamed up with Dolly Parton and her sister, Rachel Parton George, to deliver an assortment of meals inspired by the duos upcoming cookbook, Good Lookin' Cookin'.

We had the chance to chat with Rachel Parton George about this collaboration with Home Chef. So what did she say about this partnership and food in general?

Guilty Eats: What is it about Home Chef that made you want to work with them?

"Well, I love their whole concept, how they can take the food, and have it all prepped and ready for you. And usually I get like, three meals a week, and then that's three nights I don't have to go shop, and everything's ready. So when I get home from work, it's easy to just choose one and cook it, because, you know, you don't always want to go out. And this is great food. And I was so honored that they wanted to partner with Dolly and I with the book."

Guilty Eats: Can you tell us a little more about your cookbook, and what inspired some of these recipes?

"Well, a lot of them are recipes that we grew up with, and then a lot of it is also recipes that we're accustomed to, but through the years we made just a little different or, a little bit of this or a little less of that, and it's just good, solid food. I think it's just anyone can make this food, and we had such a great time being together cooking, cooking these recipes, and just being sisters and family."

Guilty Eats: Do you have a go to comfort dish?

"Well, honestly, I guess it would be mashed potatoes. I love mashed potatoes and of course, a little meatloaf on the side never hurts my feelings, either. But mashed potatoes I just have to have."
