Now that we are at the midway point of August, Fall is barreling our way. And that means that there are some seasonal flavors that are about to take over the store shelves and cafes everywhere. But Post Cereal wants to shake things up, at least in the cereal aisle.

For a limited time, fans of Honey Bunches of Oats can enjoy a new, fall flavor that will leave you coming back for more. That is because their newest addition to the cereal aisle is actually a Salted Caramel flavor of the Honey Bunches of Oats we all know and love.

Considering Salted Caramel is actually a very popular fall flavor, it makes sense that the cereal icons at Post have decided to go all in with this flavor profile. And what better way to do that than with the Honey Bunches of Oats line up?

According to the press email we received introducing us to this new release, we learned that this cereal is a "delightful blend featur[ing] the rich, sweet taste of salted caramel perfectly balanced with the classic crunchy bunches you know and love." And we had the chance to try it for ourselves.

If you enjoy salted caramel as a flavor in general, then you may want to give this version of Honey Bunches of Oats a try for yourself. This was the perfect blend of sweetness with just that hint of salt to balance things out. And much like other cereals in this line, this is crunchy goodness, even drenched in icy cold milk.

Honestly, this cereal would also be a tasty snack, even dry. And I can just imagine using this as part of a trail mix or even as crispy treats.

One thing to note about this flavor is that it seems to be available at limited retailers, with Target and Walmart being the primary place to get this one. And a standard 12 ounce box will cost you approximately $4.25 each.
