Did you know there was a National Chicken Finger Day? Well this very specific foodie holiday falls on July 27, and was first created in 2010. And perhaps unsurprisingly, National Chicken Finger Day was created by the founder of Raising Cane's! That's right, Todd Graves is the reason we have this holiday dedicated to the chicken finger.

With Raising Cane's being the reason we even have a National Chicken Finger Day, you might be wondering how the fast food chicken finger chain will celebrate. And we have the answer!

According to the press email that we received on behalf of Raising Cane's, they are giving away a free chicken finger. Obviously, there is a bit more to this freebie offer than just walking in, grabbing a chicken finger and walking out the door, but it is pretty close.

Raising Cane's is celebrating National Chicken Finger Day with a freebie deal

In order to get a free chicken finger, you need to be a member of the Raising Cane's Caniac Club, which is their rewards program. It really is as easy as that, but you can see the offer detail in the brand's own words below.

" Starting on National Chicken Finger Day, Saturday, July 27, through Tuesday, July 30, Caniac Club Members will receive one FREE Chicken Finger, no purchase necessary. The offer will be loaded onto their Caniac Club account and can be redeemed by swiping their Caniac Club Card, placing an order online or scanning their QR Code within the mobile app."

Raising Cane's

Honestly, we love the fact that not only did Raising Cane's create their own foodie holiday, but to celebrate it, they are giving away free food. I am a big fan of the chain and their chicken fingers with Cain's Sauce. Add in a sweet tea and this is the kind of meal I am here for.

While I might not end up grabbing a free chicken finger, I can't wait for my next trip to the restaurant for a Combo Box with a Sweet Tea.
