IHOP is giving us a citrusy pancake of the month for August 2024

We love IHOP. And we especially love that IHOP has been giving us a new flavor of pancakes every month in 2024. The Pancake of the Month experience is a fun way to try something new and find a stack of pancakes that is a perfect treat for a special trip to IHOP.

While it is always sad to see a favorite flavor leave the menu, the fact that they are giving us a solid month to enjoy these limited edition pancakes is also a fun way to draw us into their restaurants. For the month of August, not only are they giving us a new Pancake of the Month flavor, but they are also giving us a milkshake in the same flavor.

For August, the Pancake Flavor of the Month at IHOP is actually Lemon OREO, and the Milkshake of the Month (at least that is what we are calling it) is also Lemon OREO. But what exactly does this mean?

IHOP is giving us Lemon OREO pancakes and milkshakes for August!

The Lemon OREO pancake stack starts with the classic buttermilk pancakes that have been filled with pieces of Lemon OREO cookies. Then the stack is topped with those cookie pieces as well as a mousse that tastes like cheesecake. And of course there is also a whipped topping to finish the stack off.

Then we have the Lemon OREO Milkshake, which starts with vanilla ice cream. Then it is blended with lemonade and pieces of the Lemon OREO cookie pieces. Unsurprisingly, it also gets a whipped topping and it is finished with more pieces of the Lemon OREO.

Honestly, we are actually in love with this flavor and we can't wait to get over to our local IHOP to give this Pancake Flavor of the Month a try.
