It's hard to believe that in just 86 days, Christmas will be upon us. In a year that has moved briskly, it is time to get into full fall mode. And with the home stretch of the year always being filled with a lot of holidays, My/Mochi is getting everyone prepared with season-appropriate flavors.
Available now in the freezers of retailers across the country are a variety of flavors that will get you in the holiday spirit. With both new and returning options being part of the lineup, the mochi ice cream is sure to be a hit.
Per PR provided by My/Mochi to Guilty Eats, here is a list of the flavors that can currently be found at a store near you:
- Pumpkin Spice: A returning favorite that mixes cinnamon pumpkin spice ice cream and graham cracker pieces.
- Apple Pie á la Mode: Another returning flavor featuring a cinnamon spice apple filling placed in the center of vanilla ice cream.
- Hot Cocoa with Marshmallows (New): Hot cocoa ice cream mixed with marshmallow bits.
- Sugar Cookie (New): Sugar cookie ice cream mixed with pieces of sugar cookies.
- Gingerbread (New): Gingerbread ice cream that instantly triggers nostalgia through spice notes of gingerbread.
- Cool Peppermint (New): Peppermint ice cream mixed with minty bits.
Converting holiday classics into mochi ice cream
Overall, it is a clever concept by My/Mochi to take some of the classic treats associated with the final months of the year and turn them into mochi ice cream. Pumpkin Spice and Apple Pie were excellent flavors before, and the new flavors sound great as well.
I am looking forward to giving the Cool Peppermint one a try since I've always been a fan of peppermint ice cream. That said, My/Mochi has some great options as we get into the portion of the year that is all about family and festiveness.
