Is the Cinnabon x WARHEADS collab worth trying?
On August 19, a new collaboration hit Cinnabon stores that is equal parts unique and delicious. That is because Cinnabon has partnered with the iconic brand, WARHEADS to give us sour popping candy topped cinnamon rolls and even a Chillatta to sip on.
As part of this collaboration, Cinnabon has started with a WARHEADS Blue Raspberry Chillatta. For anyone unfamiliar with the Chillatta, it is a blended, frozen beverage that is topped with whipped cream. For this WARHEADS version, we get a beverage that is quite delicious and almost creamy, with bits of popping candy on top that melt into the drink, while still giving a bit of a zing on the tongue.
The Chillata is definitely a win for fans of the Blue Raspberry WARHEADS. And it is definitely at the top of our must try list from this collaboration.
Are the WARHEADS topped Cinnamon Rolls from Cinnabon worth the hype?
Then we have the WARHEADS topped Cinnamon Rolls. The Cinnabon X WARHEADS Topped Bons are available in three flavors, the Blue Raspberry, Watermelon, and Green Apple. These popping candies are really pop on these rolls, although they definitely melt into the frosting on these rolls.
While these were shockingly tasty, I do think that the cream cheese icing on these Bons was a bit overpowering. It almost felt like when you read a book and something happens that pulls you out of the story. Every time I got too much of the cream cheese icing in a bite with the WARHEADS, I felt like I was being pulled away from the experience.
However, if you like a thick and creamy cream cheese frosting on your cinnamon rolls, then this might not bother you at all. The WARHEADS were a shockingly tasty addition to the cinnamon roll, especially when you got them towards the center of the roll.
I don't really know what I expected with this collaboration, but it definitely has me wondering what brands Cinnabon will collaborate with next. The fact that these candies worked so well on these cinnamon rolls was a fabulous surprise and it definitely has me wanting to head over to the closest store to grab these all over again, especially that Blue Raspberry one.
