Over the past few years, boneless wings have been the prominent choice among younger generations. This shift from bone-in to boneless has led many to be angered. But fear not -- Jack In The Box is adding crispy chicken wings that allow you to eat the bones. Well, not actually.

After a busy summer for the fast-food spot, crispy wings are the latest addition to the menu. The flavors include crispy classic, hot and tangy buffalo, and savory garlic parmesan. In addition, the wings can be ordered separately in a 6 or 12-piece while also being available for a combo.

If there's one thing that makes Jack In The Box stand out, it's their variety. From tacos to burgers to breakfast platters, they always try to do different things. And now they are throwing their hat into a summer battle for who has the best fast-food chicken while avoiding the boneless craze.

Last November, this was only available in San Diego markets as a test item. However, with the positive feedback from people who tried them, it has now been made an option for Jack In the Box nationwide. The one thing to note is the promotion is only available for a limited time.

Ultimately, it might be worth trying when you make a late-night food run to Jack In The Box. A combo with the curly fries and the drink sounds like a great way to pile on some midnight calories to cap off a day.

And it seems that Jack In the Box hopes to attract the demographic that is not rocking with boneless wings -- people who enjoy biting into a crispy wing while having saucy goodness trickle down their hands.

Does this sound like you? Will Jack In The Box inspire other fast food spots to hop off the boneless wing/nugget bandwagon?
