Jell-O furniture might be the new wave of the future
When you think of Jell-O, what comes to mind? Would furniture be at the top of the list for you? I know it wouldn't be something I thought of when it came to the brand known for its gelatin desserts and pudding cups.
But on September 10, Jell-O announced their new Jelly Collection and we found ourselves falling in love. That is because the Jelly Collection is inflatable chairs that are reminiscent of the iconic gelatin desserts we all grew up with.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Jelly Collection is a set of four inflatable chairs available in yellow, green, orange, and red. And yes, that corresponds perfectly with the primary colors and flavors of the desserts we know and love.
The Jell-O Jelly Collection is modern furniture that fits in any home or office
According to the press email we received, the collection dropped on Amazon, and it featured a $30 price tag. While it is currently not available on the site, we definitely have it on our wish list to see if they decide to make these available again.
So what makes the Jelly Collection inflatable chairs so special? Well they have a very modern look and feel to them. And as the brand described them, they feature, "Smooth, rounded curves inspired by classic JELL-O molds create a plush, inviting seat. Plus, each chair comes with a built-in JELL-O cup holder, perfectly designed to fit a Ready-to-Eat JELL-O Gelatin cup."
The vibrant colors and the sleek designs have me thinking that these might just be the new wave of the future when it comes to fun furniture finds. For me, these pieces feel like the kind of furniture we will see more of popping up. And if they happen to pop up in another release from Jell-O, then count us in. (We think they need to release an inflatable side table or even coffee table next to pair with these amazing chairs.)
As a longtime fan of Jell-O products, we love that they keep innovating, even beyond the realm of desserts. But we will never say no to a Jell-O pudding cup or a cup of their gelatin desserts with a dollop of whipped cream on top.
What do you say fellow Guilty Eaters? Are you a fan of Jell-O?
