KFC has a new rewards program and it is a must join for fried chicken fans
When it comes to fried chicken, I admit that I grew up on KFC. It has long been a treat to head on over to the closest KFC location and snag their Original Recipe chicken with a side of coleslaw, their biscuits, and mashed potatoes (although I always preferred mac and cheese over the mashed potatoes). And now, fans of the chicken chain are being rewarded!
According to a press email we received here at Guilty Eats, KFC has a new Rewards program for fans that they won't want to skip. Now I know that there are a lot of rewards programs out there and it seems like every fast food chain is doing something to draw people in with apps and rewards. However, in this case we are all in.
As the company explains a big reason you will want to be a part of this rewards program is because, "By ordering on KFC.com or the KFC app, KFC Rewards members can score exclusive deals and free food rewards in KFC’s Secret Recipe Vault, such as free eight-piece Kentucky Fried Chicken Nuggets, a free chicken sandwich or a free side."
What to know about the KFC Rewards program
In order to be part of the new rewards program, you will want to either download the brand's app or sign up online on KFC.com, and once you do sign up you will start earning rewards right away. Perks of the program include:
"1. Earn 10 points for every eligible dollar spent
- KFC
2. Redeem points for free food rewards in KFC’s Secret Recipe Vault
3. Get access to personalized offers for discounts or freebies
4. Earn even more points and exclusive offers by completing rotating challenges, like ordering specific menu items"
Honestly, the fact that there are opportunities to earn free food and other deals has us convinced to join. But of course, the biggest reason to join is because we are fans of the brand. Loving KFC and having grown up on them as a special treat means that we are all in on joining their new rewards program.
What do you think of KFC offering a new rewards program? What do you think of what the program has to offer as of right now?
