That’s awfully kind of them!

KIND, which is not technically a guilty eat because they’re known for using real nuts and good ingredients and whatnot, but I still gobble ‘em down like they’re candy bars, is going all out for this year’s National Ice Cream Day. Which may be a bit of a shocker if you didn’t know they made anything ice cream related – but they do! And not only can you snag some free samples in NYC on the day itself, but one winner could get frozen treats for a full year.

Let’s start with the general info about KIND FROZEN Treat Bars because I certainly had whiplash once the PR sent to Guilty Eats jumped straight into “you could win a year’s supply.” The KIND FROZEN Treat Bars come in four flavors and are all plant-based and dairy-free. Which would make me say “no thanks” except see above regarding me gobbling up every KIND bar in sight. Those four flavors are Chocolate Cherry Almond & Nut, Dark Chocolate Almond Sea Salt & Nut, Mint Chocolate Almond Nut, and Peanut Butter Dark Chocolate Nut. So yes, they’re all nut-based, which means anyone with a nut allergy or sensitivity need not apply.

Otherwise, they all look frickin’ delicious, in the classic KIND bar wrappers but with a layer of “ice cream” where normally it would be chock full o’ nuts. That said? Per the names, there are plenty of real nuts, and real dried fruit throughout.

If these sound good to you – and they sure sound good to me – you can try ‘em out on National Ice Cream Day, Sunday, July 21, 2024, in Domino Park in Brooklyn. KIND will have a cute little ice cream cart set up from 12 pm to 5 pm, giving out samples while supplies last.

And if they sound really good to you, you can try to win a year’s supply of KIND FROZEN treat Bars. Starting on July 18, 2024, and running until Ice Cream Day on July 21, like and save the appropriate post on the @kindsnacks Instagram, tag three friends, and comment with an ice cream emoji. You can also get a bonus entry by sharing the post to your own Instagram story.

Unfortunately, there will only be one winner of the year’s supply, but if you don’t win – and aren’t in New York on the 21st – you still can snag the KIND Frozen Treat Bars in the freezer aisle in Target stores nationwide. And that’s kind of great.
