No joke: Krispy Kreme offering discount dozen doughnuts for April Fools’ Day

April Fools’ Day is the equivalent of walking through a minefield online. Every year brands release dozens of products that are too wild to be believed – and then some of them become so beloved, they end up being made for real, later on. But Krispy Kreme has a deal today that is, in fact, no joke: you can snag a second dozen doughnuts for only $4.01, today only.

The offer is pretty simple… Purchase any dozen doughnuts at the regular price, and you can get a second dozen of Original Glazed, aka god’s gift to man, for just over four bucks. In case you couldn’t figure it out, the press is set because it’s April 1, aka 4/1. You got it, though, I didn’t need to explain that.

To be clear, you can order any dozen doughnuts at Krispy Kreme to take advantage of the deal - you don’t need to, but might want to, get two dozen Original Glazed. That includes all of the chain’s regular line-up of delicious treats… But unfortunately does not include the adorable Spring Mini Doughnuts, as those were only available until Easter Sunday, aka March 31, 2024, aka yesterday. Sorry about that.

And while this offer is real, Krispy Kreme is still getting in on the April Fools’ Day… Fun? Terror? Not sure how to refer to it, but they’ve got a little prank going as well, which you can check out on their social media platforms.
