Lavender Lemonade officially joins the Starbucks Spring Menu after trending on TikTok

When Starbucks first introduced its Spring menu featuring Lavender on March 7, 2024, one item was conspicuously missing: Lavender Lemonade. And now, thanks perhaps in part to the drink hack going viral on TikTok, it’s an official menu item at the chain.

The first drinks out of the gate last month, if you didn’t know, were: Iced Lavender Cream Oatmilk Matcha, Iced Lavender Oatmilk Latte, and Lavender Crème Frappuccino Blended Beverage. If you like lavender, you were in lavender heaven – or at least, lavender purgatory, without the lemonade. As mentioned, TikTok jumped into the breach with a number of different hacks that ranged from lemonade with lavender powder and vanilla syrup, to variations like using the Strawberry Açaí Lemonade as a base.

However, the official drink has arrived, so GET OUT OF HERE, TIKTOK! GO BACK TO DANCING THE GRIDDY AND MEWING OR WHATEVER IT IS YOU ARE DOING THESE DAYS!! Ahem. Anyway, you’re probably wondering what’s in the official Starbucks Lavender Lemonade.

Per info provided to Guilty Eats, here’s the rundown:

“Lemonade with Lavender Powder: Shake up your lemonade this spring by adding subtle floral notes of lavender. Order a Lemonade with Lavender Powder to try the barista-inspired combination that’s vibrant, tangy and caffeine-free.”

While I may argue about the whole “barista-inspired” thing versus “inspired by lots of 30-second videos filmed in minivans in various parking lots,” the drink is here and available in stores or in the app, right now.

From April 9, 2024, through April 13, 2024, Starbucks is running its digital “Spring It On Scavenger Hunt,” which will allow you to snag a half-off coupon. As usual with these things, you have to be a Starbucks Rewards member, and redeem your coupon between 12 pm and 6 pm (your local time) the day after you earn at least 5 points in the game.
