MasterChef Junior Season 9 premieres on March 4

It was October of last year that we at Guilty Eats reported that MasterChef Junior, the kid-focused spinoff of the massively successful MasterChef franchise was renewed for a Season 9. The renewal was far from shocking as the series has been a solid hit for Fox since it premiered in 2013.
MasterChef Junior takes the popular MasterChef premise, that of pitting home cooks against each other for a huge cash prize and the roght to hold up the MasterChef trophy, and focusing it on kids. And don't think just because they're young that they can't cook as well as adults, because you would be incredibly wrong.
The show also brings out an almost unrecognizable side of Chef Gordon Ramsay, especially if you only know him from watching Hell's Kitchen. It's a nice change of pace and makes for a cooking competition unlike almost any other.
And now we know when the Ninth Season of MasterChef Junior will arrive on the Fox Network.
MasterChef Junior Season 9 arrives on Fox and on streaming this March.
MasterChef Junior Season 9 is scheduled to premiere on Monday, March 4 on Fox and on streaming. The news should make fans of the series very happy as the wait between seasons has been longer than usual this time.
The big news for Season 9 of course is the addition of Tilly Ramsay to the series as a fourth judge, joining her father as well as returning judges Aarón Sánchez and Daphne Oz.
The addition of a younger, fourth judge should bring a new dynamic to the series, as Tilly Ramsay has been popping up on her father's various shows for years, including Hell's Kitchen and previous seasons of MasterChef.
So preheat that over and plug in the mixer. A new MasterChef Junior champion will soon be crowned and it all starts on March 4.
