This weekend is Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 12, 2024. But forget all that! Who cares! Starting June 13, 2024, it’s Mother’s Cookies Day nationwide, as the brand is traveling around the country with a portable festival to bring the party to you.

"Mother's Cookies wants to make it easy for parents to celebrate the summer with their children, and there's no better way to do that than by providing them with what they need to deliver meaningful moments of fun," said Rachna Patel, Vice President, Distinctive Brands Marketing at Ferrero, via a press release provided to Guilty Eats. "We're so excited for families to enjoy our first-ever Stop and Taste the Frosting Summer Tour and create memories that will last a lifetime."

In case you don’t know the brand name Mother’s Cookies off-hand… That’s okay. You definitely know what they are, though. While the company has a number of products, they’re probably best known for their frosted Circus Animals cookies that come in distinctive white and pink colors. And that’s, therefore, the genesis behind the whole “Stop and Taste the Frosting” thing.

The “mobile frosted fun house” will hit a number of neighborhoods nationwide over the course of the summer, bringing a “Mythical Ring Toss,” other carnival-style games, and of course free cookies to the masses. However, you can also have the tour come straight to your home – as long as you live in Los Angeles, Dallas, Atlanta, Chicago, or New York City.

If you do want a cookie party at your house, there are a few restrictions, and a form to fill out. First and foremost, you need to be an adult – sorry children looking to bring cookies and carnival games home.

Second, you need to be within 30 miles of the following zip codes on the following days, some time between 9am and 7pm:

  • Los Angeles, CA: 90015: June 13, 14
  • Dallas, TX: 75201: June 20, 21, 22
  • Atlanta, GA: 30313: June 27, 28, 29
  • Chicago, IL: 60610: July 11, 12
  • New York, NY: 10020: July 18, 19

And perhaps most importantly, the rules that leave me, an NYC dweller, fully out of the running, you need to have “55 feet of continuous unobstructed level parking available in front of your home” and “at least four feet of unobstructed grass or open space between the curb and sidewalk.” Consarnit.
