Mountain Dew makes Mountain Time count with latest promotion

In the continental United States, there are four time zones -- Central, Pacific, Eastern, and the one many forget, Mountain. The big reason is that the states that occupy this zone are less populated and don't have as many major outlets as other regions. That said, Mountain Dew is ensuring people are recognizing Mountain Time with their latest marketing move.

If visiting the Rocky Mountains or Yellowstone National Park wasn't enough, Mountain Dew is offering fans another reason to head out to the Mountain Time zone. In an offer lasting from now until the end of the year, anyone who signs up online at WelcomeToMtnTime.com and crosses into the Mountain Time zone will receive a Mountain Dew. And that's not bad for just visiting an area that often gets buried behind popular destinations such as Los Angeles and Miami.

In addition to being rewarded for being in Mountain Time, Mountain Dew is also allowing fans to move out to the region. As part of their Mountain Dews Hauls contest, the company is searching for five winners who will have their move covered, free Mountain Dew for a year, and a Mountain Dew Outdoor Gear welcome package.

For those interested in entering, they have from today until September 30. To enter, you have to make a TikTok video mentioning a little bit about yourself, why you want to move out to Mountain Time, and how you plan on spending your time outdoors. Then, you must include hashtags #MountainDewHauls and #contest to be registered to win.

As for me, it is time for me to head to the land where the buffalo roam as I pursue my free Mountain Dew.
