"It's All Greek to Me" or at the very least it is about to be all Greek on Next Level Chef, as the remaining contestants take on a Greek dish challenge in episode 10 of Season 3. Once again, the platform is about to deliver some amazing ingredients to these chefs, and of course there will be some challenges.

However, before we can even get to the cooking portion of the episode, we have some fun to deal with first. In the opening scene where Nyesha Arrington, Richard Blais, and Gordon Ramsay share the challenge for the day, we get a very iconic moment that screams Greek customs.

So what is that custom? It is the iconic smashing of plates. And while smashing plates is done at a time of mourning, it is also done to celebrate and express joy. For these chefs, there is a lot to enjoy and celebrate as they are the top nine for Season 3 of Next Level Chef.

Obviously this scene is not about the cooking, but that's okay because Next Level Chef is about more than the cooking. It is about every aspect of this journey and all of the things that they get to learn as well.

Check out the plate smashingly fun moment here:

You can never go wrong with Gordon Ramsay smashing some plates! And honestly, it might just be so fitting for the chef that we love to see it. Of course, the fact that Richard also joined in on the plate throwing because of the good luck aspect of it made perfect sense. And we love that Nyesha joined in on the fun as well.

This was a perfect way to kickstart a Greek challenge and we can't wait to see what the chefs whip up once the platform delivers the ingredients they will have to work with. We can't wait for these Greek dishes to be cooked up and to be smashed.
