Can you taste that freshness? That’s OREO, which is expanding their line of frozen treats to include mint bars, mint sandwiches, and tubs of mint frozen dairy dessert nationwide. And yes, this festival of green is just in time for St. Patrick’s Day.

The OREO Treats line was first introduced two years ago and includes your basic OREO cookies and cream flavor over several products: dessert cups, sandwiches, tubs, cones, and king cones. And to be clear when I say “basic” I mean “delicious” because we’re talking about OREOs here.

Anyway, starting today OREO will be expanding the line to include mint, based on their delicious and refreshing Mint OREO cookies. Here’s the official blurb from OREO about the event:

“Two years after entering the freezer aisle, the brand is returning with the introduction of OREO® Mint bars, sandwiches, and a 14oz scoopable tub. These tasty frozen treats feature a sweet mint creme-flavored frozen dairy dessert base inspired by Mint OREO® Cookies with real pieces of OREO® cookies mixed in.”

Sounds great, I’m already camped out in the freezer aisle of my local supermarket.

If that wasn’t enough, though, OREO is asking fans to find the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow to win a “Pot-O-Frozen Treats” that includes samples of the whole OREO Mint Frozen Treats line. You can check out more details on OREO’s social media platforms, lucky you.

So there you go: mint, just in time for your St. Patrick’s Day festivities. Now go and buy a ton so the line can expand and we can get OREOs Java Chip dessert treats, aka my coffee-slash-OREO-loving endgame.
