Party like its 2011: White Castle brings low price on sack of sliders to fight inflation
By Trey Weston
As the quest to find value in a world that gets more expensive by the day, fast food companies and restaurants are designing new deals to bring customers back. The latest one comes from White Castle, who has a deal on their iconic cheese sliders that may help you remember when things were cheaper.
Available now for a limited time, the fast food spot is offering a sack of 10 Cheese Sliders for just $7.99 -- equating to more than 30% off the regular menu price in some US markets. Furthermore, if you do the math, it comes out to a little less than 80¢ a slider -- which hasn't appeared since 2011.
"Families everywhere are tired of almost needing a small loan when they go out for fast food, and we know these days our customers want to make every penny count," said Jamie Richardson, vice president at White Castle in a press release. "So, we're giving our customers what they crave: 10 of our steamy, mouthwatering Cheese sliders at a price they can't afford to miss."
If hearing the year 2011 takes you back, it does the same for me. From prime Bruno Mars to the final Harry Potter film to people still playing the Wii, it felt like times were simpler then. But the bottom line is that we are in 2024 and can't get that time back.
Anyway, enough with the dwelling in the past. Looking at the present, this is a great offer that will help you save some money on sliders. And, what better late-night snack than the delicious burgers coming from a castle that illuminates in the night sky?
Will you be visiting White Castle and taking advantage of this deal? Do you feel that this is a good option for your wallet? I will definitely need someone else to help me finish all these sliders.
