Pillsbury wants you to pick next year's Halloween shape cookie
Pillsbury is known for many of its products but its most beloved has to be the Pillsbury Shape Sugar Cookie Doughs. Halloween is easily the most exciting, though.
While we get a solid lineup for Christmas, Halloween takes the cake or should we say cookie? As featured in the image above, you can see the two options for this year. You can either go with a pumpkin or a ghost.
No matter what you pick, you're in for a sweet treat. While this year has two options, Pillsbury is calling all cookie bakers and Halloween lovers to help them out. Ahead of the 2025 season, the brand is doing an open call of ideas for new shapes to enjoy next Halloween.
If you're looking to make your mark, then you can enter on Pillsbury's website until September 30th with the new shape being announced on Halloween 2024. The other cool thing about this open call is that this will give Pillsbury time to create the new shape in time for Halloween 2025. Regardless if you love Halloween or not, that is sure to get you excited.
Pillsbury is giving Halloween lovers an unprecedented chance.
There are so many great Halloween shapes Pillsbury could go with and I can honestly think of a few off the top of my head including a black cat, a witch's hat, a bat, or even, a spider. I don't know if the last one would be as popular, but there are so many great Halloween shapes to choose from. Then again if Pillsbury does go with one of those I mentioned, that would be so cool.
Pillsbury has also collaborated with some films in the past so that's something to think about. Maybe it's just me, but I think some fun horror movie symbols would be great. That's not exactly the family-friendly image Pillsbury goes with, though. Then again, we can all cross our fingers for a Jack Skellington-shaped cookie. That would be such an interesting pick but there are plenty of brilliant foodies out there.
Of course, there is no denying how iconic the pumpkin and ghost shape cookie doughs are. It truly feels like fall when you're throwing those in the oven while getting ready to snuggle under a blanket and watch Hocus Pocus. Maybe that's just me, but Pillsbury's Halloween shaped cookies are the ultimate fall treat and no one even holds a black flame candle to them.
