Sip like Cameron Diaz this Fall with Avaline Lambrusco

Fall is in full effect and that means different things for different people. For some of us, it might mean all things Pumpkin Spice, while others are looking for spooky sips. But what if you just want something a little more elevated, but that is still perfect for those cooler evenings? That's where the new Avaline Lambrusco comes into the picture.

The Avaline Lambrusco is a limited edition offering from the brand, and it is a rich, sparkling red wine that is full of flavor and perfect for creating unique cocktails and sips. And as Availne explains, this particular wine features "aromas of dried cherry, sandalwood, slight pine resin, roasted coffee beans, dried orange slices, whole clove and blackberry cordial. The palate is rich with black and red roasted plum but the earthy and baking spice heavy notes continue on to the palate. Juicy, effervescent and refreshing."

We definitely got the notes of plum in every sip and it really had that richness of red wine that we love, but without being so dry that you needed water to whet the palate. However, while sipping on this wine chilled was a great experience, we really enjoyed the creation that Cameron Diaz is apparently drinking this Fall.

So what exactly is the cocktail that Diaz is enjoying this Fall? That would be the Avaline Cambrusco Spritz! Described by Cameron Diaz herself as "my twist on the classic Shirley Temple that's become my favorite fall cocktail," this is perfect for people who don't want an over the top drink, but love a more vibrant cocktail.

What you need for the Avaline Cambrusco Spritz:

• Avaline Lambrusco (2 Ounces)
• Pomegranate-Cherry Juice (2 Ounces)
• Sparkling Water
• Fresh Lemon
• Maraschino Cherries for Garnish

What to do to make your spritz:

Start by adding ice to a tall glass. Add the juice and the Avaline Lambrusco over the ice. Fill the rest of the glass with the sparkling water. Finish off with a squeeze of the lemon and garnish with your maraschino cherries.

After trying the Avaline Cambrusco Spritz, we agree that this is a fun drink with a nostalgic feel. That being said, we are excited to actually try different takes on this drink, including using lemon flavored sparkling water and using regular cherry juice.
