Sour Patch Kids Snapple candies sadly skip the Iced Tea flavor

Have you ever sipped on a thirst-quenching Snapple while eating a bag of Sour Patch Kids, and thought, “I wish there was some way of jamming these two tastes together.” I also have never had that experience, but regardless, Sour Patch Kids and Snapple are teaming up for a new line of candies. And not only that, Swedish Fish are getting in on the action, too.

"At SOUR PATCH KIDS, we're always looking for inventive ways to introduce new flavors and spark excitement among our fans," said Grace Howard, Innovation Brand Manager, Mondelēz International via press release. "And what better way to do that than by partnering with Snapple, whose iconic juice drink flavors perfectly complement our sour-then-sweet experience."

The new Sour Patch Kids Snapple bag includes three flavors: Fruit Punch, Kiwi Strawberry, and Mango Madness. And while I get the logic here, I’ll admit I was bummed out that they didn’t include the iconic Snapple Iced Tea. Do I want to taste Snapple Iced Tea covered in sour salt? Honestly, I don’t know, and now I never will, I guess? But personally, while Kiwi Strawberry is a go-to Snapple flavor, and I understand the utility of sticking to fruits… When I think “Snapple,” I think “Iced Tea.” Maybe on the second go around, they’ll launch an all Iced Tea bag of Sour Patch Kids Snapple. Not this time, though!

And while the press release downplays this a bit, if you want to try the flavors without the sour salt, Swedish Fish Snapple Fruit Flavor Mix is also now available for a limited time.

If you want to snag a bag, the Sour Patch Kids Snapple is available in a 3.61 ounce bag for a suggested retail price of $1.28, or an 8.02 ounce bag for a suggested price of $2.88.

In addition, the brands are launching a contest on TikTok using a branded “Fact or Kid” filter. If you correctly identify three of five Snapple Facts as either true or false, follow @therealsourpatchkids, post the video on TikTok with the hashtag #SPKContest in the caption, you could win $1,000. You can also mail in your entry, but either way we know you’ll be spending that cash on more Sour Patch Kids and Snapple, so get to it.
