Starbucks offers 50% off drinks every Friday, so you can caffeinate and save at the same time

Ah, Friday. The day of the week that everyone anticipates, as it's the last thing standing in the way of the weekend. Now, for each remaining Friday in May, Starbucks is adding to the hype with a deal that will put a smile on the face of anyone who is a drink-loving rewards member.

In celebration of summer kicking into high gear, Starbucks is allowing rewards members to get 50% off the regular price of any handcrafted drink from 12-6 p.m. local time on every remaining Friday in May, at participating stores.

The three big things to know with this promotion are, first of all, the deal pops up in the app during the above times. Meaning you can't cash it in now (unless it's the above times) and use it later. There's also a limit of one offer per person per week. And finally, the offer isn't valid on canned or bottled drinks. However, for the remaining Fridays of May, Starbucks members will be able to take advantage of this awesome offer. That means May 17, May 24, and May 31, if you're keeping track.

The discounted drinks on Fridays come at the same time as several brand-new items have hit the menu as part of the Starbucks summer collection. In addition to the half-off promotion, every Monday from May 13 to May 27, members will receive a personalized offer that will appear in the app, allowing them the opportunity to earn a variety of special deals beyond the one noted above.
