3 time Super Bowl Champion Ed McCaffrey introduces 3 times the mustard

Ed McCaffrey is an NFL legend known for his three Super Bowl Championship, playing for 13 seasons in the NFL for the New York Giants, being a member of the Broncos’ 50th anniversary team – and now, he’s also known for his line of celebrity branded mustard, McCaffrey Rocky Mountain Mustard.

“I’ve always found pleasure in the simple things in life, football, family, and food,” said McCaffrey via a press release provided to Guilty Eats. “McCaffreys’ Rocky Mountain Mustard was born out of a desire to make good food taste better, and I can confidently say it does just that.”

I’ll be perfectly honest here. Despite that introduction that definitely convinced you I am a knowledgeable sports guy… I am not a knowledgeable sports guy. So I have zero idea what McCaffrey has to do with mustard other than I guess he likes mustard? And in fact he likes it so much that, again per the PR, spent “countless hours” working with experts to develop his own recipe for mustard? I guess once you’ve won three Super Bowls, working around the clock to reinvent mustard is the only way to go. Tom Brady, take notes.

Anyway, the new line of mustard – because once you’ve created one basic mustard recipe, you can’t stop there – includes your regular Yellow mustard, Honey Mustard, Creamy Dijon Mustard, Beer Mustard, Chipotle Mustard, and Sriracha Mustard. The press release also notes that “Ed’s creative genius also extends to a horseradish sauce, adding another layer of depth to his offerings.”

Also of note, when you’re talking about your basic spicy brown mustard, McCaffrey says that it’s flavorful, creamy, and “just enough kick but not too spicy,” which is just like how he played when he played football!
