Some explorers head to the ends of the Earth to discover some new and exciting species or landmass. Others forge trails to locations that have never been seen before. And yet other folks try to discover three tacos at the same time at Taco Bell.
If you’re one of the latter people, then I have some great news for you… Starting today, the chain has launched the $5 Taco Discovery Box as part of Taco Tuesday. The new deal will only be available on Tuesdays through June 4 at participating locations, and allows Taco Bell fans to grab the new Cantina Chicken Crispy Taco, along with two other classic tacos, and a medium drink.
"Last year’s Taco Tuesday liberation was only the start, and now it’s on us to provide our fans with new innovations, experiences and value-driven offerings that continue to make Taco Bell a part of their Tuesday routines,” said Taylor Montgomery, Chief Marketing Officer at Taco Bell, via a press release provided to Guilty Eats. “Our new Cantina Chicken Menu is quickly becoming a fan-favorite and this $5 Taco Discovery Box makes it easier than ever for consumers to get a taste with the Cantina Chicken Crispy Taco that’s included within.”
And to be clear, pretty much all Taco Bell’s classic tacos are available alongside the Cantina Chicken Crispy Taco, including the Crunchy Taco and Doritos Locos Taco.
To pair with this promotion, Taco Bell is also launching an ad campaign featuring Jason Sudeikis and LeBron James as they goof around sitcom-style about trying new things. While the pairing might sound random, it does bring together two Taco Bell ad campaigns: Sudeikis helped launch the Cantina Chicken Menu this past March; while James was the face of last May’s Taco Tuesday campaign. Finally, they’re together in one place, though sadly not orderable in the $5 Taco Discovery Box.
The new Taco Tuesday deal is available only on Tuesdays until June 4, 2024, as previously mentioned, and only in participating stores while supplies last. Additionally, you can only get it for delivery via the Taco Bell app.
