TGI Fridays drops a Mac & Cheese waffle you need to try

TGI Fridays is looking to attract customers in a new way and frankly, we're here for it. The chain recently announced its new Mac & Cheese Waffle.

While the meal doesn't just include the Mac & Cheese waffle, it's clearly the selling point, and for good reason. For those wanting to know, the waffle is finished off with chicken fingers, Nashville Hot Honey drizzle, and melted cajun butter.

Somehow, TGI Fridays managed to make me want this even more after sharing that description. The only downside is that it's only going to be available for a limited time and only in select locations in California, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania and Connecticut according to the brand.

Regardless if you're near one of those locations or not, there is no denying that TGI Fridays is playing the ultimate game to get customers in the door.

There is something utterly ingenious about this idea and that's not to say others haven't used it yet TGI Fridays is doing something different. There is just something so smart about making mac & cheese into a waffle because it almost feels like breakfast. Given how popular brunch has become, it makes sense.

Coupled with the chicken tenders and the sweet and savory combos of hot honey and Cajun butter, your senses will be in overload. I don't know about you, but this is really making want to try this out and see if it's as good as the pictures make it look.

If you're not looking to try Mac & Cheese in waffle form, TGI Fridays also has a 4 Cheddar Mac & Cheese you can try. While it might not have the same crunch, you'll be able to enjoy the Mac & Cheese flavor. All in all, I really hope TGI Fridays decides to expand this one so more of us can try it in 2024.
