Tic Tac goes gummy with chewy twist on classic mints
By Trey Weston
One of the greatest little joys of life is eating a Tic Tac. Whether it is the classic mint one to freshen your breath or the orange one that'll tempt you to eat all of them in one sitting, there is something special about each time you lift the lid to open a new container. But imagine if Tic Tacs were gummy. That's exactly what we're getting with the latest Tic Tac release.
Available in candy aisles across the country are the brand-new Tic Tac Chewy!, which is said to start with a crunchy exterior and then a chewy inside. They come in two different flavor varieties, Fruit Adventure and Sour Adventure, with five flavors: Cherry, Orange, Apple, Lemon, and Grape.
"We're so excited that fans are now able to try Ferrero's first-ever innovation exclusive to the US market, Tic Tac Chewy!," said Dan Cutchin, Vice President of Marketing at Ferrero USA in a press release.
In what appears to be a trend of making iconic candies gummy, Tic Tac is the latest to join the mix. And it'll be a pleasant surprise to be able to bite into one without having to worry about completely damaging your teeth.
Similarly to Skittles Gummies and Airheads Gummies, I am intrigued by this and will be giving it a try. The big question is whether to go with the sour or classic Fruit Adventure taste. I'm also curious to see if the orange flavor tastes as good as it does with the original mints.
That said, if you're interested in purchasing, Tic Tac Chewy! is available in a single bag, share bad, and peg bag. And this one is a US exclusive, which means we finally get something that the world doesn't get, unlike usual when the international markets get the good stuff. Sorry, everyone else!
