Topo Chico launches new Oasis Cherry Hard Seltzer with customized voicemails from Ben Schwartz

It’s almost summer which means it’s almost time to break out the Topo Chico Hard Seltzer. In honor of that, the brand is refreshing (pun intended) their look, and adding a new flavor to the lineup: Oasis Cherry. And not only that, as they say “hello” to the new flavor, they’re also allowing fans the chance to get a new custom voicemail message from comedian Ben Schwartz.

This is a food site, and since we’re not planning on eating Ben Schwartz any time soon, let’s start with the new flavor, first. 

“Our new Cherry Oasis flavor coupled with a refreshing look and authentic creative campaign will help us stand out in the category,” said Brittany Norris, marketing director for Topo Chico Hard Seltzer via a press release provided to Guilty Eats. “We’re giving drinkers new reasons to say ‘Hello Topo Chico Hard Seltzer,’ just in time for seltzer season.”  

Oasis Cherry joins the rest of the line in 12 oz. variety packs with Strawberry Guava, Tangy Lemon Lime, and Tropical Mango. The Cherry and Strawberry are also available as 16 and 24 oz. cans.

Per the above, given the idea is to say hello to the new flavor, Topo Chico has recruited Schwartz, aka the voice of Sonic the Hedgehog among many other roles, to offer 10 fans (of legal drinking age) a new voicemail message from the actor.

“When’s the last time you updated your voicemail message? I’m guessing it’s been a minute,” said Schwartz. “That’s why Topo Chico Hard Seltzer and I have partnered up to help people refresh their outdated (and probably cringey) voicemails. And if you’re lucky, you may just get yours updated by me!”

You can enter to win now through Monday, May 13, 2024 at hellotopochico.com, and select a pre-written message (sorry, this isn’t Cameo). Every day the first 50 entrants will receive $36 to go buy Topo Chico Hard Seltzer, as well as the chance to win a voicemail from Schwartz.
