Want Dirty Soda at home? Coffee mate and Dr. Pepper have you covered
If there's one trend none of us saw coming, it was dirty soda. The name alone sounds odd but Coffee mate knows its consumers.
For those who are familiar, a dirty soda is a soda with mix-ins of your choice including cream, syrup, or even fruit. Honestly, the name can be a bit offputting when you first hear it but it's a huge trend everywhere right now.
Thankfully, Coffee mate decided to jump on the trend quickly and add a new limited-edition creamer specfically made for dirty sodas. Called the Coffee mate Dirty Soda Coconut Lime Flavored Creamer, this is a unique flavor but perfect for jumping into spring.
Deciding to partner up with Dr. Pepper makes it all the better as most people who buy Coffee mate are also drinking Dr. Pepper so it's a win-win.
Don't miss this Dirty Soda collab from Coffee mate and Dr. Pepper.
Regardless if you've ordered a Dirty Soda before or are making one for the first time using Coffee mate and Dr. Pepper, this is such a unique idea. I would have never thought about adding creamer into soda so seeing how popular it is mindboggling. However, it does make a lot of sense as it's essentially mocktail.
This is a great option for kids to feel included as these are all non-alcoholic or for pregnant women as you're still able to get a unique flavor without the addition of alcohol. In addition, I think Coffee mate and Dr. Pepper are on the right track as this trend is going to get even bigger.
While it seems like such a huge thing in Utah, Coffee mate and Dr. Pepper just helped bring it to the rest of the US. Making one at home is as simple as you can imagine. All you have to do is make your glass of soda and then add as much or as little creamer as you want. From there, the world is your oyster.
You can enjoy a Dirty Soda with different Coffee mate creamers or even, different flavors of Dr. Pepper so this is just the tip of the iceberg. No doubt we'll see other brands following Coffee mate's lead so I'm excited about what's to come.
