PSA: Today is free chicken nuggets day at Wendy’s

Last week (May 8), Wendy’s upended the fast-food world with a wild announcement… Not only did they launch a Nuggs Party Pack with approximately 50 white-meat chicken nuggets. But every Wednesday, Wendy’s is offering 6-piece nuggets absolutely free. And you know what today is? That’s right: Wednesday!

"Wendy's is committed to celebrating our unmatched chicken nugget fandom while also delivering the value our customers have come to expect from us," said Lindsay Radkoski, U.S. Chief Marketing Officer for The Wendy's Company said on the launch via press release.  "With exclusive deals and even bigger ways to Nugg, our Nuggs Party Pack and Wendy's Wednesdays are all about satisfying our fans' cravings."

In order to take advantage of the free nuggets deal, you just need to make a purchase in the Wendy’s app or online with a registered account, and that’s it. Apply the offer, and you’re good to go. And the better part is the offer isn’t just for last Wednesday and this Wednesday… It’s every Wednesday, all year long. By my count, that’s 33 Wednesdays, which is 198 chicken nuggets, absolutely free. Thank you, you red-haired wild woman, you are feeding my whole family.

As for the Nuggs Party Pack, a fun wrinkle is the brand asked the developer of McBroken, Rashiq Zahid, to come up with an app to determiner where the Nuggs Party Packs are available. Before you respond “that’s called Google Maps, idiot,” just now that not all Wendy’s restaurants are offering the Nuggs Party Packs, and they could certainly run out, too.

"I've always been a big fan of Wendy's but had no idea they offered a party sized version of their nuggs at such a good price," said Rashiq Zahid, web developer.  "I think more people should know about the Nuggs Party Pack, which is why I created the Nuggs Party website in collaboration with Wendy's.  I know fans are going to love it!"
