Taco Bell is one of those fast-food chains that continues to innovate with their menu, and that's why I had to show some love to their new Cantina Chicken Menu.
Given the fan outcry for chicken, this comes at the perfect time and honestly, feels like it could fill the void left by the removal of the rolled chicken tacos.
If you didn't know, the Cantina Chicken Menu will be released nationwide on March 21st. If you're a Taco Bell Rewards Member, then you've probably already tried it as TB Rewards Members were granted early access.
Whether you're a Taco Bell Rewards member or not, you might be curious to know what's on the Cantina Chicken Menu and we're here to share.
The Cantina Chicken Menu from Taco Bell is stacked.
Let's start with the Cantina Chicken Crispy Taco which is priced at $2.99. The taco shell has cheese grilled on the outside and then is filled with the Cantina Chicken, Creamy Jalapeno Sauce and the Bell's signature 3-cheese blend. It's served with the new Avocado Salsa Verde. Then there is the Cantina Chicken Quesadilla which is priced at $6.99. As with the crispy taco, the tortilla has cheese grilled onto it and then is stuffed with Cantina chicken, the 3-cheese blend and creamy Chipotle sauce. You can enjoy it with guacamole, sour cream and the Avocado Salsa Verde.
The next three items will be available for members on March 18th before rolling out nationwide on March 21st. First is the Cantina Chicken Soft Taco which is $2.99 and features Cantina chicken, lettuce, purple cabbage, cheddar cheese, pico de gallo and Avocado Ranch. It also includes the Avocado Salsa Verde packet. Next is the Cantina Chicken Burrito which will set you back $5.99 and includes a larger portion of Cantina Chicken, lettuce, purple cabbage, Avocado Ranch, Creamy Chipotle Sauce, cheddar cheese and pico de gallo. Of course, you can't forget the Avocado Salsa Verde packet.
Last but not least, this one is the priceiest but might be well worth it. You can get the Cantina Chicken Bowl for $7.99. The bowl includes the Cantina chicken, seasoned rice, black beans, lettuce, purple cabbage, Avocado Ranch, sour cream, pico de gallo, guacamole, cheddar cheese, and Avocado Verde Salsa.
It's clear Taco Bell is putting all its hopes on chicken this year and we can only hope the trend doesn't die in 2024. If anything, we might finally get back the shredded chicken we've been dying for. Until then, we have the Cantina Chicken Menu to look forward to.
