If there’s one thing about Sonic, the chain is always a great spot for its plethora of drinks. From floats to slushes to its famous limeades, the fast-food restaurant offers something sure to put a smile on anyone’s face. And now, Sonic is back with a new slush featuring the popular Mexican seasoning Tajín.
The Strawberry Magonada Slush will arrive at Sonic locations nationwide this March
After being one of the trendiest ingredients in the food industry last year, Tajín is back — playing a role in the new Strawberry Mangonada Slush from Sonic. The concoction blends strawberries and mangonada syrup with the brand’s iconic chili-lime seasoning. While the drink won’t officially be advertised on menus nationwide until March 3, Sonic app users can get early access by ordering through the app. Prices start at $2.99 for a medium size.
If you haven’t been to Sonic in the last month, the $1.99 menu has also been updated. New additions include French toast sticks and four different floats featuring Dr Pepper, Barq’s Root Beer, and Fanta.
Tajín’s popularity continues in 2025
Back to the Slush, and it appears we are bringing Tajín into 2025. Last year, it was all the rage, and it will definitely be interesting to see how the sweetness of the strawberry-based beverage will mix with the popular seasoning, as Sonic has piqued my interest with this one.
If you have the Sonic App (A must if you go to Sonic a good amount), I strongly recommend making an early run to give this one a try. Otherwise, for everyone else and those who don't want to have another app downloaded on their phone — stay tuned for the official launch on March 3.
