With some of the tastiest guilty eats options — such as mozzarella sticks, onion rings, and tater tots — found at Sonic, having a good collection of sauces is a must.

After introducing its Groovy Sauce last year for its Groovy Fries, Sonic is now rolling out two new sauces nationwide to join the growing sauce catalog.

Jalapeño Ranch and Asian-Style Sweet Chili are headed to your local Sonic

Arriving today in an attempt to get even saucier, Sonic is adding two new sauces, Jalapeño Ranch and Asian-Style Sweet Chili. The Jalepeño Ranch is said to be a fiery remix of a fan-favorite classic while blending Ranch with a hint of zesty jalapeños, while the Asian-Style Sweet Chili balances sweet and spicy through a mix of soy sauce, sesame, garlic, and ginger.

In addition to the new sauces, Sonic is revamping a few existing ones, including Ranch, Honey Mustard, and BBQ. Each has been reformulated for a more flavorful experience, ensuring every bite packs a punch.

It's great to see Sonic expand its sauce lineup while refining the classics. Although Chick-fil-A has long been known for its variety of dipping sauces, Sonic is making a strong case of its own by offering more ways to dunk fries and other menu favorites.

As of now, Sonic’s sauce selection includes Groovy, Buffalo, BBQ, Honey Mustard, Ranch, and the two new additions: Jalapeño Ranch and Asian-Style Sweet Chili. With sweet chili now in the mix, they’ve already won in my book, as that is one of the better sauces out there.

So, it’s time to get saucy at Sonic. Oh, and maybe grab a root beer float from the $1.99 menu — because the weather is finally nice.
