Sometimes you just need a cup of coffee to get you through the day. And for many of us, Starbucks is our go-to for that caffeine fix. But we can't always head to the cafe to make that happen, which leaves us turning to their at-home collection of coffees and creamers.
One product that we love having on hand is definitely the Starbucks instant coffee. You can have it hot or cold and it’s as easy as adding water. (It doesn’t get much easier than that.) So we were excited to learn that Starbucks was launching a new line of instant coffees.
On February 11, we received a press email on behalf of Starbucks where they announced that they would be giving us the brand new Crema Collection Premium Instant coffees. This is a first of its kind innovation that actually gives us a frothing coffee. Think creamy, foamy deliciousness in every sip.
You can enjoy this coffee either black, with creamer, or with any style of milk you prefer. However you enjoy your cup of coffee, this instant coffee just elevates it to that next level.
There are three flavors to choose from from this new Crema Collection Premium Instant coffee. They are giving us a Madagascar Vanilla flavor, a Molten Chocolate flavor, and a Salted Caramel option. And we had the opportunity to try both the caramel and the vanilla flavors for ourself.

These new coffees are definitely going to become a new favorite for fans of the Starbucks at-home lineup. The added frothiness of these instant coffees actually gives it that cafe feeling.
I have to say that the Madagascar Vanilla Crema Collection Instant coffee flavor was my favorite of the two I tried. There is something about the vanilla that was rich, sweet and overall velvety. I love the way this flavor popped and adding in some creamer just brought it all together. I tried this as both a hot and an iced coffee, and I have to say that it was a win either way.
If you enjoy vanilla notes in your coffee, this one definitely delivers that without being overpowering. And honestly, that frothiness really comes through with every sip.
While I loved the Madagascar Vanilla Crema Collection Instant coffee, there is no denying that that Salted Caramel flavor was also quite delicious. It had that buttery flavor that we expect from caramel, but with that little hint of sweet that is brought out by the addition of the salt. I would say that this coffee has a nutty note to it, but it absolutely works.
I found that I preferred this one as an iced coffee with the Starbucks Caramel Macchiato creamer to add even more caramel flavor to the mix. But I do have to say that I like my coffee sweet and creamy, so it was always going to be the way I sipped this one.
If you love Starbucks coffee, adding their Crema Collection Instant coffee to your cabinets at home is the way to go if you want to have that cafe experience at any time.
