Although I was unfamiliar with the brand before learning about this new release, I was excited when I was offered a chance to try the new Pineapple Tequila Soda for myself. As the days get warmer, it is fun to find new drinks to sip on at barbecues, on the beach and by the pool.
I am so glad I gave this beverage a try. This was a refreshing drink that really didn't kill the tastebuds. There was something very clean about this tequila soda, and I loved the crispness of it as well. I was worried that there would be a lingering aftertaste, which does happen sometimes with canned cocktails, but I didn't find that to be the case with this one.
You can smell the pineapple when you first pop the can open, which is always nice because it feels like a sign that the fruit in question will show up when you taste your drink. And I was happy that I was right in feeling this way. In fact, I would say that this really was a perfect balance of pineapple to tequila with the right amount of sparkling soda in the mix to add that effervescence.
The Talkhouse Encore Pineapple Tequila Soda might just be the ultimate sip of summer and I am definitely here for it.
