Snack Time Gets a Southern Twist: Texas Roadhouse Unveils Dips with West Madison Foods

There are some things that we just love about going out to eat. And one of those things is the appetizers. While the entree might be the main event of a night out, there is something about an appetizer that is so satisfying.

And if you are as much of a fan of Texas Roadhouse as I am, then you might be excited to learn that three of their classic appetizer dips can now be brought home! That is because Texas Roadhouse and West Madison Foods are elevating our at-home snacking with three delicious dips that taste like the classics we know and love.

Not only did they do the Cactus Blossom Dip, but they also did their Rattlesnake Bites Dip and the Fried Pickle Dip. And I got to try them for myself.

Thanks to Texas Roadhouse and West Madison Foods, I was able to try all three of these classic appetizer dips for myself at home. And I have to say that I was impressed.

I love a Cactus Blossom, because fried onions are always epic. And the dip that goes with it is so flavorful that I have always wished I could recreate it at home. But now I don't have to, because Texas Roadhouse is giving us the chance to dip away at home.

The cajun style dip is creamy and flavorful and works for chops, fried onions and more. This might be my favorite of the three. That being said the Rattlesnake Bites Dip is also a winner, because that hint of heat with garlic and cheese is not to be missed. In fact this is the kind of dip I want with pretzels every single time.

For me, the Fried Pickle Dip is the only one that I have less of an opinion on, as I am not the biggest fried pickle person. I like pickles without the frying in general, so I can't really tell if this lives up to the hype. But what I can say is that this is the kind of dip I would use on a burger with pickles and cheese. It has a nice flavor and the creaminess works wonders in that type of application.

Honestly, I love dips of all kinds. I like mixing and matching, adding them to veggies and dipping in chips and pretzels. And with these three dips, we have a new way of bringing the restaurant flavors home with us!
