It's a match made in beauty heaven. Or perhaps it is a match grown on a cherry tree! For the first time ever, Tru Fru is collaborating with another brand to really celebrate one of our favorite treats: the cherry. And in order to do that, they have teamed up with tarte cosmetics, marking the first time that the cosmetics company has partnered with a food brand.
As a fan of both Tru Fru and tarte cosmetics, this collab hits differently. Not only that, but cherries are by far my favorite fruit. And there is no denying that the Tru Fru chocolate covered cherries have long been a favorite for many of us. (There is legit a bag of their dark and white chocolate cherries in my freezer right this minute.) So I have to admit to being even more excited by the idea of the new Tru Fru x tarte Cherry launch.
If you are a "cherry-coded" person, then this is definitely the collab for you. And if you don't know what this cherry aesthetic is, it is all about adding a bit of red into your life, even in small ways. In this case, what could be better than chocolate covered cherries and some fun lip colors?

So what do you need to know as fellow Tru Fru and tarte lovers? How about the fact that on April 3, you can hop on the Tru Fru website and get on a list to snag a "Tru Fru x tarte™ Cherry Bundle” for $50 featuring "a bag of Tru Fru x tarte™ Cherry, an exclusive ‘tarte™ cherry crush PR vault’ with six maracuja juicy lips in limited-edition cherry crush shade & scent in best-selling formulas: plump, balm, vinyl, shimmer glass, melt mask, lip oil + phone case holder, and a custom Cherry Crush baseball hat." On April 11, you can also head on over to the tarte cosmetics website to purchase the limited edition cherry crush lip collection. Finally on May 4, Target stores will be the home of Tru Fru x tarte Cherry bags while supplies last. While the lip products won't be available in stores, the bag will have a code that gets you 20 percent off an order on the tarte website.
