Christmas Eve is here and that means it is time for last minute shopping, dinner planning, and all of the holiday festivities you can think of. And if you are planning for a lowkey holiday, are skipping a large dinner, or just don't know what to do on Christmas Eve or even Christmas Day, you might be wondering if a run to Chick-fil-A is in the cards.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, Chick-fil-A will in fact be closed on Christmas Day. However, because Christmas Eve falls on a Tuesday in 2024, they will be open on December 24. That being said, the restaurant will be operating with reduced holiday hours.
According to the Chick-fil-A customer support page, while hours will vary by location, it does seem like most restaurants will be closing early. Although they do recommend either calling your local restaurant or checking the store locator page to learn when they will be closing for the holiday.
Chick-fil-A is closed on Christmas Day, but you can still celebrate the holiday with them if you bring these goodies home on Christmas Eve
While Chick-fil-A may be closed for Christmas, you can still celebrate with some of their chicken goodness on December 25. Not only is there always their bottled sauces which can be found on store shelves (stores such as Walmart, Target, Stop & Shop and more carry Chick-fil-A dipping sauces), but there are a few menu items that you can grab on December 24 and enjoy the next day.
One menu item that we enjoy heating up the next day is their nuggets. The Chick-fil-A nuggets reheat well and are a tasty addition to salads or as an appetizer to a larger meal. Chicken Tortilla Soup is another great menu item to bring home and enjoy for the holiday, as is their sweet tea and lemonade. The fact that you can snag a gallon of their sweet tea, lemonade, or a combination of tea and lemonade means that Chick-fil-A can even be at the table for Christmas dinner even without the actual chicken hitting the table.
Another suggestion we have to make the holidays a little bit easier is grabbing a salad or two from the menu to add to the Christmas table, as they make a nice start to any meal. Finally, their chocolate chip cookie or brownies are a nice little treat if you don't want to be trapped at the stove baking this Christmas.
Honestly, there are plenty of ways to include Chick-fil-A into your holiday plans, even with the restaurants being closed on Christmas Day.
Of course, Chick-fil-A will be open the day after Christmas, so you won't have to wait long for a fresh order of waffle fries and nuggets, if you choose not to grab extras on December 24 for your holiday festivities.
