When you think of Cracker Barrel, do you think cozy, comfort food or holiday dinners? For us it is actually both, as the restaurant delivers on both down home cooking and meals perfect for a holiday celebration.

However, while Cracker Barrel can be found open on any number of holidays, Christmas is not one of them. In fact, Cracker Barrel is not only closed on Christmas Day, but they actually close early on Christmas Eve as well.

According to a holiday press email we received on behalf of the brand, while Cracker Barrel is getting into the holiday spirit with meals that you can preorder for take out perfect for planning ahead with, they are actually closing at 2 PM on December 24. This means that even if you are snagging one of those holiday meals to skip the cooking, you will have to be at the store before they are closed for the holiday.

Cracker Barrel may be closed on Christmas Day, but they are still helping customers plan their holiday meals

Although Cracker Barrel is closed Christmas Day, they are offering holiday heat and serve meals that you can pre-order right now and pick up between now and December 28, with the exception of Christmas Day when they are closed. There are a variety of meals you can choose from including a holiday ham heat n’ serve family dinner and a holiday ham heat n’ serve feast.

On top of the ham meals, there is also a prime rib heat n’ serve family dinner. Depending on which meal you choose, you can serve between four and six with the family dinners or eight to 10 with the feast. This means that you don’t have to worry about cooking for a crowd with the help of Cracker Barrel.

According to the information we have about these holiday offerings, they can easily go from in the oven to your dinner table in three hours or less. That makes the holidays easier than ever.

For more information on the holiday meal options, check out the Cracker Barrel catering page for details. Not only can you schedule your pickup, but you can learn more about pricing and any other options available to you in order to make Christmas Day easier.

We should also point out that Cracker Barrel is open again on December 26, the day after Christmas for their normal hours. So if you are looking to skip the kitchen after Christmas is over, then you are in luck, even if you are looking for breakfast in the morning or dinner at night.

You can never go wrong with a meal from Cracker Barrel, and we love that even if they will be closed on Christmas Day, they are still doing what they can to make the holidays easier for everyone.
