Coffee is life. And Coffee from Starbucks is something that many of us run on. It doesn't matter if it is a holiday or not, we need our caffeine fix. And that's why for a holiday like Christmas, we need to know what their holiday hours will be.
The answer to the question of whether or not Starbucks will be open on Christmas Day is mixed. The reason for this is that there are locations that will be closed. If a location is in a store, mall or other building that is closed for Christmas, then that Starbucks will obviously be closed as well. Smaller locations with less foot traffic will also be closed. That being said there are any number of locations that will be open on Christmas Day.
From what we have seen at a variety of Starbucks locations near us, their hours on Christmas Day will vary, however all locations look to be closing early. One location near us is closed entirely, while another about five miles from there will be open until 11:30 AM, still another location in town will be open until 12 PM. We have seen closing times as early as 11 AM and as late as 2 PM depending on the store.
It can get a bit confusing trying to figure out store hours for Starbucks, since every location is different. That being said, many of their stores will be open in the morning to kick start people's Christmas mornings with the caffeine they need (and want).
And when it comes to Christmas Eve, some Starbucks locations will be closing early then as well. (Although many locations still show their normal hours of operation when doing a quick search online.) All this to say that if you really want to know when your local Starbucks store will be open for Christmas, it is best to check the app and see what it has to say.
Many Starbucks locations will be open on Christmas Day, but closing early
Considering the new winter menu at Starbucks is set to drop on January 2, Christmas will likely be one of the last times we can enjoy some of our seasonal favorites, such as the Peppermint Mocha or the Caramel Brulee Latte. (Likely these drinks will still be available until January 2, and then as supplies last.) So if you want to enjoy a bit of festive sipping with your Christmas dinner or even your brunch plans, you will want to make sure you head over to Starbucks for that latte before they close for the holiday.
And don't forget to grab those last minute gift cards for the fellow Starbucks lovers in your life.
