Since Memorial Day weekend, Avatar fans and Disney fanatics have flooded Animal Kingdom’s newest space, Pandora – The World of Avatar. The Pandora food experiences are as exotic as the bioluminescent forest.

Pandora – World of Avatar brings many guests to Animal Kingdom. Disney imagineers have created an immersive experience. From the floating forest to two impressive rides, everyone is raving about the new experience. But, the Pandora experience doesn’t stop there. Pandora food experiences are just as mesmerizing.

Pandora is based on the world-wide popular movie, Avatar. The Pandora food experiences bring elements of the movie to guests. The primary dining area is the Satu’li Canteen. This Disney restaurant incorporates the Na’vi style in both atmosphere and food themes.

One of the Avatar themes is respecting the planet. The fast-casual Satu’li Canteen brings together the five senses. With a bounty of fresh fruits and vegetables, the restaurant features a large selection of options. The main menu item is bowls.

The customizable bowls allow diners to choose several components of the dish. Guests choose proteins, salads, grains and dressings. With so many variations, guests can have a different meal every time.

In addition to the customized bowls, the Satu’li Canteen offers bao buns. These buns can be stuffed with cheeseburgers or vegetable curry. Younger guests can choose from typical favorites like hot dogs, cheeseburgers and quesadillas.

A new option at the Satu’li Canteen is a Mobile Order option. It is the first Disney restaurant to use the Mobile Order system. Using the Disney My Experience App, guests can place orders and pay directly from the app. When guests arrive, they simply press “I’m here” which starts their meal in the kitchen. Once ready, the app alerts guests to pick up their food.
