Gwen Stefani may be known for her musical talents and coaching on The Voice, but she’s now signed a deal to have her own Food Network cooking show.

It seems like many musicians and actresses are moving on from their original careers. As Gwyneth Paltrow continues to run the lifestyle brand Goop and Blake Lively takes on her own lifestyle brand, Gwen Stefani has decided it’s time to make her own mark. However, she’s not taking on the lifestyle blogs. She’s opting to get her own cooking show on the Food Network.

OK! magazine reports that the No Doubt singer has entered talks to host her own cooking show. It’s reportedly been something she’s wanted to do for some time now and her friend, and Food Network star, Giada de Laurentiis has convinced her to go for it.

It’s not like it’s the first time Stefani has entered the food sphere. She appeared as a guest on Giada’s own show on the network and loved every minute of it. Now is the time for her to take on this new project, as she settles into her routine and life with The Voice co-host Blake Shelton.

Speaking of the country singer, he will be a guest on her cooking show once it’s on the air. And he won’t be the only one. Stefani wants to open this up to other celebrity guests, which will definitely help to raise her profile on the network! Not that Stefani being on it alone wouldn’t be good enough. After all, she’s a household name even for those who aren’t The Voice fans.

We’ll be looking out for a cookbook soon with her name on it, right?
