According to Deadline, it has been the networks top new summer series. It has been the most-watched debut series in the summer for more than three years and the most-watched unscripted series since 2013. You need to exclude the NFL from that for obvious reasons but you get the idea.

With impressive figures like that it is no wonder that Fox felt confident enough to grant it a second season so early on.

Tonight’s new episode is expected to be one of the most emotional episodes of the season. “Brownstone Bistro,” will see Gordon travel to a Cajun restaurant in the hope of bringing it back from the ashes.
